Last night's Crafting Under the Influence summer series kicked off at Cedar Creek. The Creek turned out ot be surprisingly space-challenging for a Thursday night. Some crafters parked down the street and walked great distances to be there; others emoted to the parking lot attendant and were rewarded with assistance. Still, the craft gods were smiling upon us as we managed to carve out a nice corner and join tables. And so now we're scouting out a new venue to accommodate us and our growing numbers.

Also discussed:
possible craft give-aways for attendees
the addition of an inspirational box filled with extra craft supplies and misc. craft ephemera
a binder filled with craft project ideas

Crafters worked on different projects, and some just mingled and marinated in the creative juices of others over drinks and food.

Longest running project shout-out goes to Lisa C., who's been working on the same needlepoint project for over 19 years. "I've been working on this since the 90's," Lisa beamed.

Thanks to all who attended last night!
